Customer Support Engineers attends to customer calls and provide the right response to them, positively and professionally. You will be dealing with a wide range of products ranging from PC¡¦s to Servers, Peripherals like printers, scanners, Plotters etc, Networking products like Routers, switches Server & Desktop Operating Systems and Utility softwares.

You¡¦ll provide remote and onsite solutions to problems with a primary goal of achieving ON TIME FIRST TIME FIX.

Job will include Installation, system management in medium to large Windows 2000/2003 environments and Support. This will include both software and hardware maintenance and troubleshooting

ƒ{Thorough knowledge of Windows Xp/Vista Operating Systems, MS Office products,
ƒ{Antivirus Products like Symantec Antivirus, Trend Micro, etc.
ƒ{Experience in technical areas related to Hardware & Software
ƒ{Customer service experience
ƒ{Product-oriented certificates (e.g .MCSE, CCNA)
ƒ{Broad technology knowledge(Operating systems, Hardware)
ƒ{Willingness to participate in non-standard working-time models (e.g. shift, call
availability, etc)
ƒ{Diagnostic & Analytical skills to provide accurate solutions to customer problems
ƒ{Clear communication skills both oral and written
ƒ{Ability to work independently
ƒ{Commercial and customer facing skills & confident telephone manner
ƒ{Initiative and attitude to take up responsibility until an assigned call is resolved to the customer¡¦s satisfaction

- 5-7 years experience L1 support.
- As a Customer Support Engineer you will be the first level interface of the Company with the Customer.
- You will work with the customer to understand and solve the problems faced by him in a way to achiever the set Support Quality targets.
- Apart from the above you will be responsible for successfully selling Maintenance contracts & Upgrades to the Customers existing IT infrastructure.
-As successful Support Engineer you are expected to work side by side with our Customers & Company management, whilst making sure that you keep kept abreast on product & technical knowledge.
-The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, commercial and customer facing skills.
Certifications: MCP/MCSE and CCNA
